    KBX Super 8

    Showsport International will stage KBX SUPER 8 an eight man middleweight kickboxing tournament on the 13th July at Aston Event Centre in Birmingham. The line up will include all of the most successful middleweight kickboxers in the UK, any one of them capable of headlining a show on their own. Read more

    Dave Wilson wins European title in Vienna

    Liverpool’s Dave Wilson grabbed a victory on foreign soil last month when he captured the ISKA Light-cruiserweight European title under Oriental rules. Wilson faced Austria’s Predrag Lazarevic at the Albert Shulz Ice Arena in Vienna. Read more

    World Championship Muay Thai at Leeds Town Hall, 14 June 2008

    The Bad Company promotions in association with Showsport International staged a World Championship Muaythai event at Leeds Town Hall on June 14th and proved beyond doubt the healthy and improving state of Muay Thai in the UK. Read more

    Wesley McKay has been suspended from fighting on ISKA UK sanctioned events for 12 months for failing to disclose the correct result of last contest at a pre-fight medical and breaking a 28 day medical suspension. Read more

    Imran Khan v Anuwat in Paris

    Sheffield's Imran Khan faced Muaythai legend Anuwat in Paris on the 12th June 2008. He took the fight on two week's notice. The show was staged at the Marcel Cerdan Stadium in Levallois-Perret, Paris by Europe's leading promoter Sami Kebchi. Read more

    AKF Promotions will stage their second event of the year at the Park & Gardeners club in Sheffield on the 1st June. The main event will feature Shane Beard against Shaun Lomas for the ISKA North West Area Super-middleweight title under Oriental rules. Read more
