Daiton Jackson captures European title
British Champion Daiton Jackson from the Salford Muaythai Gym in Manchester challenged Roberto Colazzo of Belgium for the vacant ISKA European Light-middleweight Muaythai title in Bolton, England.
Billed as the Battle of Bolton, promoted by Sandy Holt the European title clash lived up to expectations. Jackson a young rising star stepped up in class to face Colazzo who’d had three times as many fights as the English Contender. Jackson used a ramrod jab to keep control in the opening round. Colazzo pressed forwards in the second but walked onto a sold right hand that dropped him for an eight count.
As Jackson swarmed Colazzo did well to survive the round. After regaining his composure in the third Colazzo mounted a counter attack in the fourth but he was shut out by Jackson’s stiff jabs and solid clinch. Jackson’s approached was thoughtful and measured he scored his points without letting Colazzo into the fight, winning a clear unanimous decision

The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record. KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
