Dennis to fight Ishikawa in Tokyo
British Lightweight prospect John Dennis has agreed terms to face Japan’s Noaki Ishikawa on KRUSH 5 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on the 4th January 2010 in a match arranged by the ISKA UK office.
KRUSH is a new promotion that grew out of the ashes the AJKF (All Japan Kickboxing Federation) which ceased operating earlier this year. Dennis will face former All Japan Champion Ishikawa under K-1 Rules.
ISKA World Champion Andy Howson was also scheduled to fight on the card against Nobuchika Terado but had to pull out due to a leg injury. It is likely that Terado will now fight an exhibition match with Thailand’s Ramba M-16 Somdet
