Disciplinary Action

ISKA Disciplinary committee have suspended Shaun Lomas (Sheffield) for a total of 18 months for fighting while on medical suspension. Lomas lost by TKO in the third round of his match with Dave Wilson in Liverpool on the 20th February 2010 he was given a automatic 28 day medical suspension.

An ISKA Official was informed that Lomas intended to compete while on medical suspension and contacted him and warned that what he was doing was dangerous and would lead to disciplinary action. Lomas fought three times during the medical suspension and received a six month disciplinary suspension for each incident. Lomas will be suspended from fighting on ISKA Sanction events until 20th August 2011. Lomas has the right to appeal.

James Grundy (Sheffield) has been suspended for 6 months for a ‘no show’ on the 27th February. Grundy was scheduled to contest the ISKA Northern Area Light-heavyweight title against Anthony Stuchbury at Skate Central in Sheffield. Grundy pulled out of the match without giving sufficient notice. Grundy will be suspended from fighting on ISKA Sanction events until 27th August 2010. He has the right to appeal.

    KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
