Fedor Wins by Spectacular TKO
CHICAGO, (Nov. 8, 2009) – Saturday night marked MMA’s return to primetime on CBS featuring the No. 1 MMA fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko, against Brett Rogers, in the main event. The event aired live on the CBS Television Network at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The heavyweight main Event between the unbeateb Brett Rogers and Russian Superstar Fedor Emelianenko attracted over 5 million viewers to CBS on the 7th November. Rogers had a good start landing a stiff jab that bloodied Emelianenko in the first round, he delivered a few punches from top position and some knees to the body while Emelianenko was pinned against the fence.
It all went pear shaped for Rogers in the second round, Emelianenko connected wioth a looping right, dropping Rogers and compelling referee John McCarthy to step in. and save Rogers from further punishment
Attendance at the Sears Centre Arena was 11,512 (sellout).

KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
