Garnett v Bakissy re-scheduled for the 29th March 2009
The ISKA Ladies Welterweight World title match between England’s Helene Garnett and Laetitia Bakissy of France has been re-scheduled to take place on the 29th March at the Octagon in Sheffield. They were supposed to meet and contest the vacant title last November be the show was cancelled
due to the civil unrest in and airport siege in Thailand that prevented the main event fighter form travelling. Garnett fights out of the Wicker Camp on Sheffield trained by Mick Mullaney who has produced several champions including Trix march, Lee Chesters, Christian Di Paolo and Imran Khan.

The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record. KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
