ISKA North Africa
Cairo, Egypt; promoter Mohamed SOBIH , director for ISKA NORTH AFRICA, made the Pyramid open tournament in nice Payramid view Hotel in Giza. Fighters from 8 countries joined the the open amateur event and showed very good performance. India female fighter Kaur DALEET showed great skill winning her division.
During this event the fist African continental referee Seminar was staged. Chairman Mr. Abdulrahmann El Rayess from Lebanon and Mr. Josef Temml from Austria had 44 referees from eight countries attended
For the very first time in the history in Africa, Mr. Sobih promoted two ISKA World titles. World Champion Thorsten SPRINGER / AUT fought for the World title in Fullcontact – 78,1 Kg vs. the Egyptian Champion Ahmet IBRAHIM. In the 5th round the fight was over by KO, and new World Champion Ahmet IBRAHIM received the Belt from Mr. Ghoneim Saad.
Second World title was for the vacant female Oriental rules – 60 Kg Anna KORCHAGINA / UKR vs. Noura SWELEM / EGY. After five rounds of a closed high class fight the Ukraine fighter Korchagina won by 2:1 split decision.

Women’s World Championship Kickboxing
The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record. She is WAKO amator European and world champion in freestyle kickboxing. Melanie has a 24-6-0 pro record, she is French and European champion in Savate. Read more

KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
