ISKA Referee and Judges Course

John Blackledge ISKA UK Director of Rules and Regulations will stage a referee and judge’s course on the 11th October in Birmingham. The course will cover Full Contact and Low kick Kickboxing, Oriental Rules and Muaythai.

The ISKA rule book has been updated with several major changes, the course is open to all including experience officials who want to refresh their credentials and newcomers interested in getting involved and becoming an ISKA official. Trainers and fighters are also welcome a better understanding of the rules can only help their careers. The course fee is £35.00 and will rule book an individual assessment and classification and certificate The course will hosted by the MACK HQ Gym, Adderley Street , Digbeth, Birmingham B9 4ED.     The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record.     KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke

    KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
