ISKA Sanction KING OF THE RING
After extensive negotiations with King of the Ring promoters Nash Somani and Owen Comerie, Mike Fowles ISKA UK Director was please to announce that the popular Nottingham based fight shows would no longer staged single match title fights and with the support and sanction of the ISKA would replace them with four man tournaments.
Mike Fowles said, we had taken away another set of titles in an already crowded market and replaced is with a more exciting tournament format were the tournament winner will receive a £1000 and the King of the Ring brand gets added credibility trough its association with the ISKA it’s a positive step forward for everyone involved. Nash and Owen plan to host tournaments under Kickboxing, Thaiboxing and MMA rules in the Welterweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight divisions. Women’s World Championship Kickboxing
The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record. KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
