ISKA UK and the ABA agree to share information
The ABA (Amateur Boxing Association) recently approached ISKA UK with questions regarding the fight records of Kick & Thaiboxers who had entered novice amateur boxing tournaments.
Many Thai/kickboxing promoter and trainers have also voiced concerns about amateur boxers not declaring their records when entering Thai/kickboxing matches. After a positive discussion with ABA Director Ted Goreham it was agreed that ISKA UK and the ABA will share information regarding fight records in order to prevent miss-matching in both sports. Now if a trainer or promoter suspects a fighters is not being totally honest about their previous experience we can check, so be warned.

ISKA UK Amateur Referee Course
On Sunday 22nd January 2012 saw the first ISKA Amateur Referee Course at the Stockland Green Leisure Centre in Birmingham. ISKA Amateur Chief Referee, Mr Dave Hughes, 6th Dan, presented the course along Senior Referee Mr Jason Morrison 5th Dan, a qualified International A class Referee. Read more

KRUSH 16 Features 2 ISKA World title fights
KRUSH 16 will feature as co-main events two ISKA World title fights on the 17th February at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo, Japan. K-1 MAX Champions Yoshihiro Sato and Yuta Kubo will challenge for ISKA World Championship belts, the title matches will be broadcast in Japan by Gaora Sports TV. Read more
