Julie Kitchen to fight for ISKA World title
Cornwall’s Julie Kitchen from the Touchgloves Gym in Hayle has been challenged by Portugal’s Ivanilda Vaz Te from Team Never Shake to contest the vacant ISKA World Light-welterweight title under Oriental Rules.
The match is set for Sunday 7th December 2008 and will be staged at St. Johns Hall in Penzance, Cornwall hosted by Fightsport Promotions headed by Howard Hughes. This will be Kitchens first fight in the UK for over a year and six months after her very close showdown with the World’s best female fighter Germaine De Randarmie who became the first female fighter to beat Julie kitchen at 63.5kg, after the bout, De Randarmie described kitchen as her toughest opponent to date.

KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
