Michelle Newell steps up to World Title Clash
ISKA British Champion Michelle Newell who fights out of the Firewalker Gym in Wolverhampton. Will challenge for the vacant ISKA ladies World Super Atomweight title under Oriental rules on the 15th March at Wolverhampton Race Course.
Newell will face former two-time Amateur World Champion Lucy Mairot of France. The card will also feature Firewalker standouts Kerrith Bhella and Ivan Damyanov. Bhella will face Liverpool’s Greg Severs to contest the ISKA English Welterweight title. The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record. KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya.
