Nick Gill withdraws from World title fight due to family bereavement
Nick Gill was scheduled to contest the vacant ISKA World Welterweight against Frenchman Ali Kanfouah on the 4th October at the Stevenage Arts & Conference Centre but he had to withdraw from the match due to a family bereavement.
The Stevenage card will now be headlined by an ISKA European title fight between the current European Welterweight Champion Simon Akufu (IFA) and British Champion Suky Shoria (TSKB). ISKA British Super-middleweight Champion Andy Pollard will defend his title against Walsall’s Ronnie Hogan. Stacy Parker (TSKB) will face Zowie Mason (Touch Gloves) to contest the ladies ISKA English Light-welterweight title and is a non-title prestige match Steve Grainger (TSKB) will face Rob ‘Diesel’ Stevens (BMA). Promoter Trevor Spencer plans to stage Nick Gill’s World title fight in the New Year.

KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke
KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
