Russ Williams returns to promoting

Former World Champion Russ Williams will stage his first promotion in ten years on the 1st March the Liquid Night Club in Wrexham. Russ promoted his first show in 1986

over the years he promoted quality event many of them broadcast on Welsh TV and produced World Champion Gordon Minors, Ricky ‘The Tank’ Nicholson and Eugene Valerio. Russ recently opened a full time Martials Arts Centre in Wrexham which in turn inspired hin to get back into promoting. Billed as the St. Davids Day Bash the card will feature matches under Kickboxing, Muaythai and MMA rules and will feture the return of former British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Dylan Williams.     The Women’s ISKA Atom-weight World Kickboxing title under Full Contact rules was contested in Dijon, France by Maria Krivoshapkina (Russia) and Melanie Bony (France).Maria has a 10-2-0 pro record and 120-30-0 amateur record.     KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke

    KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
