    New home for Jesters Gym

    After 5 years of using sports centre’s, church halls, rented studios and even a loft in a barn, Jesters Gym have finally found their permanent home in the Centre of Matlock, Derbyshire. Towards the end of 2008 Dale Wood and Mark Ball had turned a disused laboratory on the edge of the town centre into a mixed martial artists dream. Read more

    After extensive negotiations with King of the Ring promoters Nash Somani and Owen Comerie, Mike Fowles ISKA UK Director was please to announce that the popular Nottingham based fight shows would no longer staged single match title fights and with the support and sanction of the ISKA would replace them with four man tournaments.     ISKA UK Review of 2008

    The ISKA undeniable confirmed its position as the number one sanctioning body in the UK during 2008. The association sanctioned 80 events that included 10 World title fights, 7 European title fights, 4 commonwealth title fights 27 British title fights and 42 National and Regional title fights. Over 800 Kickboxing and Muaythai bouts were contested under ISKA rules in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Read more
