    Ruth Ashdown vs Serin Murray for Womens World title in Australia

    England’s Ruth Ashdown will face Serin Murray in Sydney Australia on the 29th October 2011. Two times World Champion Murray was scheduled to challenge Scotland’s Hilary Mack for her ISKA Super-flyweight Muaythai title, but work commitments forced Mack to withdraw. Murray is now staking her claim to the ISKA Super-flyweight title under Oriental rules hoping to win her third belt. Ashdown took the fight in a heartbeat always ready for a challenge even if it on the other side of the world. Read more

    Rung defends ISKA World Muaythai title for the third time

    Rungkathorn Kharnpan the ISKA World Light-welterweight Champion Muaythai Champion will make a third defence of his Championship belt against England’s Luke Turner on the 22nd October 2011 at the Centenary Pavilion, Leeds United Football Stadium Elland Road. The measure of a true Champion is not how many belts he has, but how many times he has successfully defended them against all comers. Read more

    ISKA UK on target to Sanction 100 events in 2011

    ISKA UK is on target to sanction 100 events during 2011, the second quarter figures showed 33 sanctioned events added to the first quarters 21 events its shows 55 events at the half year mark. With a further 52 events scheduled for the second half of 2011, barring cancelations the goal of 100 events is achievable. Read more

    STRIKEFORCE Heavyweight Grand Prix

    Only two fighters remain in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix, as Josh Barnett? and Daniel Cormier scored impressive victories in their semifinal bouts at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati last Saturday night. In the main event, former UFC heavyweight champion and PRIDE star Josh Barnett continued to roll in his Strikeforce stint, earning a spot in the Grand Prix finals with a dominating first round submission win over Russia’s Sergei Kharitonov.
