Clan Wars 4 Man European Lightweight Tournament for ISKA Title
Stacked! Clan Wars have done it again and raised the bar for European MMA, they have announced a 4 Man Competition to decide the ISKA European Mixed Martial Arts Champion for the Clan Wars 8 show on the 27th of August at the Ulster Hall Belfast as well as an Irish ISKA Featherweight Title!
Clan Wars are on their way to the top of the European show rankings with fantastic event production, explosive fights, unbiased match making and mixed martial arts exposure already featuring in the UK’s leading martial arts magazine ‘Martial Arts Illustrated’ and with the show being beamed out to millions of homes in Ireland ,UK and Europe on television.
Aron ‘Iron Fist’ Jahnsen –
Aron is the current ECFF lightweight champion, he hails from Norway under the famous Team Hellboy Hansen camp with no other than Joachim Hansen as the head coach (Joachim is one of the worlds most famous fighters fighting on shows like Pride and Dream). The Hellboy team have been gaining a lot of success on shows up and down Europe producing some of the most feared fighters today. Aron is a ferocious fighter and is on a winning streak, he is eager to get into the Clan Wars octagon to battle it out for the ISKA European Title!
Chris ‘Menace2 society’ Stringer –
Chris is a Cage Wars and OMMAC veteran and has faced some of the toughest competition from the MMA world such as Rich Clementi. He trains out of the famous Kaobon gym in Liverpool under Colin Heron and with an arsenal off top team mates including UFC fighters like Terry Etim. Chris has a lot of experience, he is dubbed as one of the top Lightweights in the UK and has been on a recent winning streak, he has made some adjustments to his diet and training and now is hungrier than ever calling himself the new version 2.0.
‘Magic’ Myles Price –
Myles is the current Cage Contender Light weight Champion and is looking to step it up a gear by entering the 4 man ISKA European Title Competition, Myles fights out of the SBGi gym in Dublin under BJJ Black belt John Kavanagh. John and the SBGi team are one of Irelands and the UK’s top teams, there’s rarely a week goes by that you don’t see an SBGi fighter at a quality show, they are a very active club. Myles has solid striking skills cemented in from his kickboxing training at Kilkenny Top Pro gym, accompany this with Johns Jiu Jitsu MMA game plan skills and you have a very dangerous fighter.
Dec ‘The Bandit’ Larkin -
Declan trains out of the Sudden Impact gym under Emmet ‘The Mauler’ Mc Nally in Magherafelt, Co Derry, anyone who knows the sudden impact gym will tell you they breed tough talented fighters! Declan has also a lot of experience training from an early age along with fighters like Aidan ‘Snake Hips’ Marron and under coaches like David Patterson from EFR. He is well rounded and always comes to put on a show. Declan is no stranger to the Clan Wars Octagon however he’s usually the other side of the action as he is one of the Clan Wars refs and officials. Declan will come to this tournament we are sure with a solid game plan.

ISKA Referee & Judges Course

Terado defends ISKA World title against Howson on KRUSH 21
ISKA World bantamweight Champion, Japan’s Nobuchika Terado will defend his Oriental Rules title against the former ISKA World bantamweight Muaythai Champion Andy Howson from England.
