Coming off one of the best MMA shows in 2010 at Clan Wars 5 on Halloween Clan Wars have stepped it up another gear! With the huge numbers of fighters from Amateur to Professional from all around the World looking to grace the Clan Wars Octagon the team had no other choice but to run a Challenger show to meet the demands.
Clan Wars is fast becoming one of the top MMA testing grounds in Europe for fighters all over the World, so far the promotion has had fighters from Brazil, France, Lanzarote, Poland, Lithuania and England fly over to this prestigious event with many more requests from fighters from the USA, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Jamaica which includes UFC and Strikeforce veterans.
There’s no doubt about it that the Challenger event was an excellent idea and is the next big developing step for the show with a huge European following and high number of requests to fight on the Clan Wars event.
We got speaking to Promoter Paul Mc Laughlin who said ‘We are spoilt for choice when it comes to Top International Fighters looking to fight on the Clan Wars cards and we hope to bring a lot more global talent to Belfast in 2011 plus we have a few ISKA Titles that need defending so this is going to be one hell of a busy and exciting year for Irish MMA!’
Clan Wars has been raising the bar on MMA standards through the sanctioning of the ISKA who are one of the Worlds most recognised and respected Martial Arts body – Clan Wars and the ISKA are now also working on some exciting developments for 2011 so watch this space!

ISKA UK solid fourth quarter to end 2010
