Clan Wars 6 Unbelievable!!
Unbelievable!! This is the only way I can describe the Clan Wars 6 Challenger show on the 14th of Jan 2011 at the Sense Night Club in Cookstown, what a way to begin the New Year! Clan Wars has shown why it has been nominated for 3 separate awards this year across Europe, Clan Wars 6 was nothing short of spectacular – could this be Irelands answer to the UFC and Strikeforce?!? Many people seem to think so with a huge International following and fighter pool and rave reviews anywhere you go!
The show is sanctioned by the ISKA and is currently being used as one of Europe’s top proving grounds for Irish, UK, European and even world wide fighters. Many eyes across the globe are on the Clan Wars show looking to pick the best of European talent for the larger shows such as the UFC, Strikeforce and Dream and rightly so as this show raises the standard of MMA on so many levels from the tight health and safety procedures, method statements, explosive fights, fighters well fare, high production values, show exposure, MMA contacts and world wide fan base! I am surprised these guys have not been approached by a big time investor as with the right backing this could be one hell of a promotion to rival some of the biggest MMA promotions today!
Clan Wars also made a huge statement at the Challenger show announcing they will be holding Clan Wars 7 ‘Champions’ at the world famous Ulster Hall in Belfast on the 28th of May 2011 – for those that do not know the Ulster Hall is seen by many as the best venue in Belfast for boxing and martial arts events with a hair raising atmosphere and located in the heart of Belfast City Centre. Clan Wars easily fills out venues outside of the City in Ballymena,Armagh and Cookstown with a huge number of fans – this time due to Clan Wars being inundated with requests to hold a show in Belfast at the world famous Ulster Hall this show will sell out in record time especially with the fight card the team have got lined up.
We caught up with Paul Mc Laughlin and asked him about the Ulster Hall ‘Clan Wars is ever evolving, a lot of the clubs that support the show are from Belfast City and have been asking us for years to come to the City although we never really found a venue that would suit us or give the impact we wanted to bring. We have been working with the Ulster Hall for over a year now with the ISKA providing all the right paperwork and sanctioning reports to be approved for the show, it’s a huge step forward for the show and Irish MMA, we plan to put on one of the best fight cards Irish MMA fans have seen yet!’
Paul didn’t let too much away about who the fighters would be but he did say to expect International fighters, ISKA National and Regional titles, UFC Fighter Manager Scouts, special guests and a full fight card with explosive pro and NSAC GNP rules fights – this means a full card of ground n pound fights!
The tickets go on sale from the Ulster Hall Box Office next week and are priced £28 standard and £35 for cage side which are limited – the number to call to book your tickets from the Box office is 028 90 334455. Each ticket is marked with your seat number so those booking early have a choice of where they want to sit, we have been to a boxing event at the Ulster Hall before and the tiered balcony seating was the business!!
These tickets won’t last long and are expected to sell out very quickly so please call asap to reserve your seat – Every seat has an awesome view in the Ulster Hall which is what makes the venue so unique!
Get your tickets now! 028 90 334455 Fight card will be announced soon!!!

Our new leadership in Europe has "hit the ground running!" In less than sixty days since they were granted full authority the new ISKA European Executive Council, consisting of Paul Hennessy (England), Davut Sidal (Turkey) and Hasan Arslan (Germany)have reorganized our continental infrastructure and managed to already have scheduled eighteen world class kickboxing title events for the first half of 2011!
