Clan Wars 8 ISKA Irish title fight

Clan Wars 8 show on the 27th of August at the Ulster Hall Belfast will feature Irish ISKA Featherweight Title! Clan Wars are on their way to the top of the European show rankings with fantastic event production, explosive fights.

The competition has heated up fast for the highly coveted Clan Wars ISKA title; It has fast become the belt that every wants and the debate has begun between top contenders. The title was originally confirmed for Clan Wars 7 stand out fighter Decky ‘The Diamond’ Dalton against Steven ‘taz’ McCombe however training for the title Decky Dalton received a bad knee injury and was forced to pull out. This left an opening that former ISKA Lightweight Champion Peter Duncan was eager to fill now dropping to his new fight weight of 66kg. Fight was confirmed and the fans were excited! Things didn’t stay together long as training in Liverpool resulted in bust ribs for Peter Duncan rendering him unable to fight. Fans were asking who would fill this spot until the promoters brought back tough Brazilian Top Team fighter from Kilarney Conor Dillon who has dropped also to 66kg and who is coming off a victory for the Battlezone Featherweight title. Conor had always been hungry for the ISKA title from the start and is determined to take it home with him however Antrim man Steven ‘taz’ McCombe has different ideas. Steven used to fight at bantamweight and was ranked very highly in the European rankings at that weight, he has now moved to featherweight and feels very strong and comfortable there, his nickname is ‘Taz’ and he comes like a whirlwind with excellent stand up and ground skills, to top it off he is tough as hell – in fact both fighters are tough as hell and will not give up. This is a fight fans do not want to miss!!

There are many top level MMA bouts on the Clan Wars 8 under card also with fighters like ISKA Irish and Commonwealth Amateur Champion Joe ‘Ulster’ Frey, 8-2 Caribbean Champion Chris ‘Da BadMan’ McDonald returning from Jamaica for his second Clan Wars appearance, Irish stand out Joe ‘Kid Chaos’ Clarke who will tear it up against Mick Brennan on both their Clan Wars debuts, Clan Wars 7 crowd favourite Geoff ‘The Hummer’ Hall also returns to the octagon to put on another performance hoping to have the crowd on their feet again! This is just a small mention of the stacked card planned for the 27th of August at the Ulster Hall Belfast for Clan Wars 8!!
