Derry City hosts ISKA World Heavyweight Kickboxing Championship, Quigley steps up
Daniel "Pinta" Quigley of PT's Kickboxing gym, Derry City, N.Ireland, has been handed a shot at the ISKA "World" Heavyweight Professional Kickboxing title. Daniel the current ISKA World "Cruiserweight" Champion will fight in St. Columbs hall, Derry City, N.Ireland, on the 5th March 2011, against the French K1 fighter "Pacome Assi".
Daniel will be the first Irish man to fight for this prestigious title. This will also be the first time a world Professional Kickboxing title will be fought for in Derry City thus making it a historical occasion.
Also on the bill Derry man and Irish Professional light middleweight kickboxing champion Aidan Lafferty will fight for the Commonwealth Title against Steve Freeman over 10x2 rounds for the ISKA Commonwealth Light-middleweight title.
Local fight fans will also for the first time see 2 x time current World ISKA Middle and Light middleweight champion, Tommy “The Ghost” McCafferty take on French fireman, Noureddine GHAJJI & Ladies European Super Flyweight Champion Natalie McCarron take on ISKA Commonwealth champion, Andre Warbick in International Prestige bouts.
The bill will also include the up and coming future stars of Irish Kickboxing a kickboxing event NOT to be missed.
Incidentally special guest at ringside will be local man, Paul McCloskey who challenges Amir Khan for his WBA belt.

ISKA Referee & Judges Course

Terado defends ISKA World title against Howson on KRUSH 21
ISKA World bantamweight Champion, Japan’s Nobuchika Terado will defend his Oriental Rules title against the former ISKA World bantamweight Muaythai Champion Andy Howson from England.
