Fight-Stars standout Fraser Opie scores KO in Slovakia

England’s Fraser Opie a light-heavyweight MMA prospect who trains out of Lee Hasdell’s SJJ Studio in Milton Keynes scored a first round KO on his International debut in Nitra, Slovakia.

Opie honed his professional record to 5-3 on the ISKA sanctioned Fight-Stars UK tour last year. He step up on short notice to face Slovakian Llija Skondric 9-3 at heavyweight, in the opening minute Skondric controlled the action with superior grappling but then Opie scored a heavy knee strike and the fight swung in his favour, opie connected with a left and then a right hook to KO Skondric. The match on the main card with an impressive line-up including K-1 veterans Alexey Ignashov and Vitaly Akhramenko.

    Terado defends ISKA World title against Howson on KRUSH 21

    ISKA World bantamweight Champion, Japan’s Nobuchika Terado will defend his Oriental Rules title against the former ISKA World bantamweight Muaythai Champion Andy Howson from England.
