ISKA Amateur World Championships 2012, Valkenburg Netherlands
Members of the ISKA Amateur World Championships organising committee Paul Hennessy and Paul Gilmore recently visited Valkenburg to check the facilities for the fourth coming Championships.
Valkenburg is a pictures and welcoming town and from a central hotel, everything including the Sports Hall is within easy walking distance, there are some great restaurants and lively bars. The centrally located hotels are small boutique family owned businesses and range from 2 Star to 4 Star.
Valkenburgh is a year round tourist destination, so the hotels especially in the centre are not cheap but reasonble with prices starting at 38€ per person per night bed & breakfast based on two people sharing a twin room, we have decided to shorten the Championships by 1 day so this year you will only need to stay for 4 nights 31st October - 3rd November, checkout on the 4th November.
There are several international Airports close to Valkenburg, we can arrange transfers from an airport to Team hotels.
Maastricht Airport, Holland (transfer 20 minutes)
Cologne Airport, Germany (transfer 1 hour)
Brussels Airport, Belgium (transfer 1 hour 30 minutes)
Amsterdam Airport, Holland (transfer 2 hour 30 minutes)
