ISKA British Championship Muaythai
Black Widow Martial Arts in association with Showsport International promoted an ISKA British Championship show at Gatecrasher in Birmingham. The show attracted a sellout crowd to the popular city center night club. Ivan Damyanov faced Alex Abusin to contest the ISKA British Super-welterweight Muaythai Title.
Damyanov who fights out of the Firewalker Gym in Wolverhampton has fought at Light-middle and middleweight but has now made himself at home in the Super-welterweight division he has also changed his tactics, he used to be a
‘have-a-go’ scrapper always willing to go toe-to-toe. His performance against Abusin was the complete opposite, it was a measure and precise attack, lighting fast punch kick combo’s, Abusin was rocked and hurt, the referee stepped in to stop the fight near the end of the first round.
Adam Morgan who also fights out of the Firewalker Gym captured ISKA Midland Area Super-welterweight Muaythai Title when he out-gunned Pindi Madahar winning a unanimous points decision.
The ISKA Midland Area Super-Heavyweight Championship was decided between Jason Dutton and Correy Robins both men traded heavy punches from the first bell, it was only a matter of time, mid-way into the third round Robins landed a solid right hand and Dutton slumped to the canvas unable to beat the count.
