22nd August, 2010 , one of the remarkable day in the panorama of Karate, the All India National School Karate-Do Championships and the Selection for ISKA World Championships was organized at the glorious Netaji Indoor Stadium in our own City of joy, Kolkata. .

It is one of the most renowned National level tournament in India under the leadership of the very world mythical undisputed hero of karate , 7th DAN BELT from JAPAN , President of ISKA INDIA, President of Karate Association of Bengal and Joint Secretary of All India karate-do Federation ,RENSHI PREMJIT SEN

It was a successful and worth praising event, wherein, schools of 14 states had participated to show their excellence in karate and the congregation of eminent persons added to the prestige of the event .It started at 8:00 am with the opening ceremony where there was a scintillating Japanese weapons demonstration by karate kids By Swati Gupta,Swati Jhawar, Rachita Ray and Swaraj Sing.  Mr. JODDHRAJ JI LADDHA, an eminent social worker and president of the federation said,in his speech, ”I am glad to be present here for a social cause to support Premjit to spread karate as a necessity for today’s generation and the person(Premjit) who does everything for his love for the society”.General Secretary of Bengal Olympic Assciation, KAMLESH CHATTERJEE said, Its very hard to organize such a big national event by one man(Premjit) who is totally devoted to his sport and India is looking forward for more talents in this transpiring sport”. The additional C.P. of Kolkata ,Mr. Debasis Ghosh , said,” I feel lucky to get Premjit Sen as the coach of Kolkata Police training and we are in need of his expertise which is very much required for the defence and security purpose and looking for a bright India .

It was a very well organized tournament with an excellent cuisine and lodging arrangements provided by the federation and brilliant performances were given by the students of Sri Shikshayatan ,Birla High School for Boys, St. Sebastins School ,Delhi Public School,Saltlake Siksha Sadan, Central Modern School, Ghokale Memorial Girls School and others.

The Tournament was supervised by Shihan Premjit Sen Referee and Judge of Asian Karate Do Federation and other Referees are Sensei Joydeb Mandol, Swati Jhawar, Tanusree Roy, Abhijeet Ghosh, Bappaditya nandi,Antony Halder, Anil Rai, Kaushik Basak,Mitun saha, Mriganko Ghoshe and others.

The outsatnding Performance done by some students are Soham Sil, Soham Paul, Swaraj Singh, Rachita Ray, Swati Gupta, Sreeja Ghosh, Poulami Ghosh,Anewsha Biswas,Prateek Sil,Simran Mukherjee, Shuvodip Mondal,Garv Sonkar,Akash Ramdev Aksay Ramdev, Yash Patawari. The tournament was directed by President od Seishinkai Shito Ryu Karate Do association of Bengal Sensei Balkrishan Damani (4th Dan Black Belt and National referee and judge) and Mr. Baikunth Singh Vice President AISSKF
