The proceedings where opened with the chairman’s report. In the face of the economic downturn, the Football World Cup a long hot summer and a freezing winter ISKA UK still sustained growth for a fourth successive year. ISKA UK sanctioned 97 events during 2010, an increase of 12.6 % that’s more than double the growth for 2009.
The disciplines sanctioned included 31 Kickboxing events, 34 Muaythai events, 25 MMA events and 7 Semi/light-contact tournaments. In addition to the sanctioned events ISKA UK staged 6 Referee and judges courses covering all disciplines, we are constantly trying to improve the level of ISKA officials and widen their experience.
