ISKA UK impressive third quarter
ISKA UK turned in some impressive numbers for the third quarter of 2009, sanctioning 23 events during the summer period including 3 World title matches 2 commonwealth title matches and 26 British National and Area title matches.
Highlights included Julie Kitchen winning her second World title, Jason Curtis winning back the British Light-middle title then putting it on the line again a month after and Andy Pollard finding time to win the Commonwealth Super-middle title and then two months later successfully defend his British title. The ISKA is the only sanctioning body in the UK that operate a truly National circuit, allowing fighters to develop their careers to the highest level. ISKA UK fighters were also active aboard with Adopted Scotsman Rungnakorn Kharpan fighting for a second ISKA World title in Marbella, Spain and Welsh heavyweight John Love making his official K-1 debut in Tokyo, Japan arranged by the ISKA UK. With the recession still biting we are happy to be making steady progress

K-1 Final 8 Tournament Draw
The final 8 combatates for the FieLDS K-1 WORLD GP 2009 FINAL were decided last night at the Olympic Gymnasium, Seoul Korea. Today, at the Olympic Parktel hotel Ruslan Karaev, Remy Bonjasky, Jerome Le Banner, Errol Zimmerman, Semmy Schilt, Ewerton Teixeira, Alistair Overeem, and Badr Hari have gathered to determine just who, who and in what order they will meet each other again in the Final to be held December 5 at the Yokohama Arena. Natalie Bee Captures ISKA & IKF World Titles
Natalie Bee claimed ISKA & IKF World Featherweight titles on Absolute Adrenaline "Most Wanted" in a comprehensive but bloody 12 round battle with legend Tracey Reno. At 39, Reno was the underdog but commanded full respect from the Kickboxing community, having dominated the lighter weight divisions for a number of years. Read more
