ISKA World Championship Kickboxing

Vienna, Austria; promoter and ISKA European president Mr. Fritz Exenberger staged a quality event featuring two World Championship fights, 8 man tournament in oriental rules – 72,30 Kg, Ladies prestige fight , pro Boxing fight, with three TV stations ringside.

Because of the Vienna City government elections in October many leading politicians were in attendance all of them happy to present the championship belts.
Fight of the Night was World title fight in Freestyle (Low kick) 58.20 Kg Russian Super fighter Yuri Trogiyanov challenged German Johannes Wolf, current ISKA World Champion in full contact. After 10 rounds of a hard bout the Russian Champion won a close decision, the audience was totally enthused.

Second World title fight was for the Champion Belt in free style free style (Low kick) – 88,60 Kg Our current World Champion in Oriental Rules and six time World Champion Mr. Mohamed Fahr made his officially last fight in Europe. Fahr is now over 35 years old and his last fight will be the title defence on December 2nd in his home town Port Said. His opponent was the Ukrainian Champion Yuri Gorbunkov form Union Gym in Lviv. Gorbunkov is known as very hard puncher and he hit the World Champion a few times with sweet combinations.
Fahr was strong with his lowkicks and in the 3rd round referee Harald Folladori stoped the fight because the Ukrainian fighter couldn´t make one step more, injured from hard low kicks.Winner by low kick KO Mohamed Fahr.
Beside this two World title fights Volodymir Artemenko won the 8 man tournament. He beat Evgeny Finogenov (Russia) by KO, Alan Karczewski (Austria) and in the final Sergi Adamchuk (Belarus) by points.
Austrian girl Myra Winkelman won a three round bout vs.  Ukraine girl Olga Deniskenko by points.

    K-1 MAX Double Impact

    October 3, 2010 - Seoul, South Korea - Hot off the heels of the K-1 Final 16, part 2 of the Double Impact Final 16 takes place. At -63kg and -70kg these athletes might not have the size of those in the preceding night, but they more than make up for it with speed, technique and heart.     K-1 World Grand Prix F16

    October 2, 2010 - Seoul, South Korea - Finally, the time was upon us for the first half of the much awaited Double Impact F16 event. Tonight was the K-1 fighters, and there wasn’t a single one of them on the card not breaking their neck trying to qualify for the Final 8.     Sunday 19th September saw the ISKA South West Open Championships 2010 take place at Westland Leisure Complex, Yeovil; Hosted by ISKA Director for Forms Joe Hallett and his sister, Ruth. Many competitors from across the country travelled to the event to compete to take home the title, all the advanced category winners would receive a title belt. Read more
