    DREAM NYE 2011 Genki Desu Ka !

    DREAM teamed up with IGF and Antonio Inoki for the annual New Year Eve martial Arts festival, billed as Genki Desu Ka ! which is Antonio Inoki’s catch faze, roughly translated means 'How Are You'. The card featured DREAM MMA matches including title fights, Pro-Wrestling and Kickboxing. Read more

    ISKA Sanction over 100 events in the UK in 2011

    The last ISKA Sanctioned card in 2011 was on the 17th December after which ISKA officials totalled the number of events sanctioned for the year, the final number was 108. ISKA UK set the goal of 100 events for the last couple of years and came very close in 2010 with 97 events. With the current economic climate and government cuts starting to bite the goal seemed even harder to reach in 2011 but ISKA UK Directors worked hard not only to reach the target but surpass it.     INOKI BOM-BA-YE 2011

    ISKA World Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Jerome Le banner headlined the annual Pro-Wrestling festival INOKI BOM-BA-YE at the Tokyo Ryougoku Sumo Arena in Japan on the 2nd December. Le Banner faced former UFC Champion and the current STRIKEFORCE Heavyweight Grand Prix Finalists Josh Barnett to contest the IGF heavyweight championship. Read more

    Irish Prime Minister recognises Women World Kickboxing Champion’s achievements

    Natalie McCarron got a pleasant surprise last week after winning a second Professional World Kickboxing title in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny. PT’s Kickboxing Gym Derry and Donegal kickboxer Natalie had just became the Woman’s Professional Kickboxing Champion of the World back in July in front of Sky television cameras and had just added another world title, received a call from the Taoiseach’s (Irish Prime Minster) Secretary . At first she thought it was a prank call, she was taken aback to say the least. Read more
