Fake ISKA Europe Facebook page
A former ISKA member who was dismissed for dishonesty has posted a fake ISKA Europe Facebook page. There is strong evidence that former ISKA European President Mr Fritz Exenberger who was dismissed from his position in November 2010
http://www.iska.org.uk/news/article/fritz_exenberger_is_dismissed_as_iska_european_president/
is behind the fake ISKA Europe Facebook page amongst other fake websites and Facebook accounts he operates in an effort to damage legitimate Kickboxing organizations.
The main reason for Mr Exenberger’s dismissal was the deceitful way he launched a competing organisation whilst holding a position of authority within the ISKA using the ISKA network and resources to do so. Although Mr Exenberger had the right to appeal against his dismissal, no appeal was made.
Compounding the fraudulence, the name and logo he chose for his new organization already belonged to somebody else. The WKF (World Kickboxing Federation) name and logo was legally registered several years before by its founder and President Mr Talal Takkoush who subsequently defended his legal right to the WKF name and logo and won his case against Mr Exenberger who was ordered to pay the costs, see the ruling here http://wkfkickboxing.com/News.htm
Regrettably, it seems that Mr Exenberger has no respect for our sport or the rule of law and still uses the WKF name and logo illegally. So while it is sad to think that things like this occur in our sport, unfortunately it is not surprising that there are those who would resort to lies and the use of fake Facebook accounts and websites in an effort to hurt legitimate organizations and advance their own greed.
We are currently taking legal advice regarding the fake ISKA Europe Facebook and possible copy wright infringement and action to have the page taken down. The Official ISKA Europe page can been found here https://www.facebook.com/pages/ISKA-Europe/255609197937722?fref=ts
