Fadi Merza wins ISKA World title

Austria’s SUPER LEAGUE Star Fadi Merza, famous for his epic battles with John Wayne Parr and England’s own Peter Crooke broadcast live on Eurosport, made a successful challenge for the ISKA World Light-middleweight title.

Staged at the Wiener Stadium in the centre of Vienna, Merza faced tough Italian Luca Di Santo to contest the vacant ISKA World Light-middleweight title 72.5kg under Oriental rules. Merza hurt Di Santo in the first round with a knee to the head the Italian took an eight count but wasn’t ready to give up. Merza had to earn the title winning a clear unanimous decision.

The card also featured an ISKA MMA Intercontinental title, Austrian Willi Ott faced Brazil’s
Lincon Rodriguez for the Welterweight title. Rodriguez won by Arm Bar in the first round.

    KRUSH 18 Takiya KO’s Crooke

    KRUSH 18 staged at Korakeun Hall, Tokyo on the 3rd May by Good Loser Productions, featured an international prestige match between England’s Reece Crooke and Japanese rising star Shota Takiya. Crooke on the comeback trail was trying to fight his way into the World’s top ten, Takiya was not going to give up his spot. Read more
