Team England Open selections and Squad training Full Contact Kickboxing

We are please to announce that Matt Winsper and James Winsper have recently taken on the leadership for ISKA England's amateur Full Contact Kickboxing. Their main aim for this year is to develop, train and accompany a team for the ISKA World Championships in Alicante, Spain on 2nd-7th November.

They have taken it on relatively late in the year, time is of the essence in picking the squad and building a team spirit in training between now and November. Therefore, without time to run official English selections, they are inviting reputable gyms to supply the team with fighters for the championships.England is allowed to send two fighters per weight division (see below for divisions), so we need to fill the spaces ASAP.

This is where you come in! If you have any national or international level fighters who would like to represent their club and country at the World Championships in Spain, please let us know and bring them along to our first Squad Training session on 20th June.We are giving your fighter’s first refusal to be picked for the team. If we have more than two candidates for each division, we will organise a simple fight off between the fighters, but other than that, all we ask if for the fighters to attend squad training and bond as a team.

DIVISIONS:
Women (18yrs+) - 50kg Bantamweight, 54kg Featherweight, 57kg Lightweight, 60kg Lt Welterweight, 63kg Welterweight, 66kg Middleweight, +66kg Heavyweight
