Watson dominates Toshiya to take ISKA Crown

Showsport International in Association with Black Widow Martial Arts Academy staged MAUYTHAI SUPERFIGHTS on the 20th November 2010 at the Doug Ellis Sports Centre in Birmingham England. The main event featured an ISKA World title between England’s Jordan Watson and Nakagawa Toshiya of Japan.

Watson and Toshiya contested the vacant ISKA World Super-welterweight title under Muaythai rules. Watson quickly demonstrated why he is the hottest prospect in the UK with a steady stream of kicks knees and punches landing on target including his trademark flying knee. Toshiya prove to be incredibly tough soaking up a lot of punishment even after being knocked down in the third with a head kick he quickly got to his feet and back into the fray. Watson was dominant in every round and won a clear unanimous decision.

Another UK prospect Thomas McCormack connected with a heavy right had to KO Lee Green and took the ISKA Commonwealth Welterweight title under Oriental rules and Sean Perry knocked out Mark Skeer in round two for the ISKA British Welterweight Muaythai title.  ISKA European Light- middleweight Champion Daiton Jackson scored a second round KO against Richard Jones in a non-title match.
